I wanted to pop in today to share a little life update with you and let you know what’s ahead for the blog.

There is a moment right before you hit “publish” or “post” or “send” that feels like holding your breath. You read it again. You second-guess. You wonder if it is too much, not enough, too honest, too quiet, too bold. You wonder how it will be received. Or if it will be received at all.

In this season of my life, quiet time doesn’t always look like it used to.

I used to think that brainstorming book ideas had to be this big, official process. A whiteboard, quiet room, maybe a coffee shop and a notebook full of inspiration.

This one is hard to write.

Some songs are more than just music.

I have always used writing as a way to process what I am going through.

If you have ever read a book that made you feel seen, like the author reached into your heart and gently named something you could not put into words yet, you know how powerful faith-filled writing can be.

There are seasons in life when the words come easily.

I knew postpartum would be hard, but I did not expect it to hit like this.

It has been a quiet few weeks here on the blog, and for good reason…

Before I ever wrote a devotional, I was a storyteller at heart.

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23
